Been busy. Moved. Back at work.
I am keeping pretty regular with Twitter (as you can see from the last many posts). That's the best place to find me these days. I'm ceasing the Twitter updates here, now that you have the gist of what it is.
I am still hoping to post here from time to time, but there will be many fewer family-type posts. Had a weird run-in. Not worth it.
Hope all is well with you guys. Season Three is shaping up to be lovely. Hope you guys like it. P.S. I think you will.
Sorry for no blogs, ever. I've been working. I'm shooting a mini-series with James Van Der Beek and Treat Williams. It's long days and we're cranking along. It's going to be the next Mad Men. Just kidding. But it's still fun to do, and those guys are making the long days easier.
Also, I've barely seen my kid awake in the last week. So I hope that makes you feel better about me not blogging.
(I like imagining that you are enraged at my lack of blogging, you six readers. Makes me feel powerful and important.)
I am ashamed to admit that I have signed on for Twitter. It's a much quicker outlet, and it's a jillion times easier to post to than Vox when I'm away from the computer. @richsommer, if you're looking to hear from me a little more often during the busy times.
Anyway, hope all is well. Please enjoy Jon Hamm on Jimmy Pardo's podcast as a parting gift. It's awesome. Go to the 4/6/09 post at pardcast.com.
New year, new blog header! Courtesy of the always amazing Dyna Moe.
1. I am back from another trip. I will be home for a while, so I will blog more. Promise.
2. I hate the Cleveland Browns. Boy, do I hate them.
Dyna Moe, the incredible artist who created the Mad Men holiday card, has helped me out with another project: The top o' this page.
She. Is. Super. Amazing.
I also shifted the title of the blog as a whole. "Richard Olen Can't Go Bowlin'" had just done its time for me. "Rich Sommer: The Blog" is not the most creative title in the world, but, well, it's accurate.
