QotD: Life-Changing Event

Big answer... Watergate. I was a little little girl and it's my first political memory, filtered to me through my liberal New York Jewish parents. I grew up with a natural mistrust of government and hostility toward the other guy. It's ingrained.

Personal answer... my weight loss surgery nearly five years ago, and all the wackiness that has ensued since.

At least that's my answer this chapter. There've been quite a few markers.
Well, this didn't really turn out to be a big sharing thing.

I agree about the birth of your child (or children) being life changing! It is amazing how your views on so many things change once you're a parent! And at some point you realize your parents were right and you are turning into them regardless of what you think!

I have to say, I think you are kinda amazing. Living the dream, on the BEST show on television, great family... nice work!
