I miss Minnesota.

Love the out-line in that Backstage interview.

Had a similar conversation with Will Hines' girlfriend who is a huge fan of the show and, through no fault of her own, of Chinese descent. She dressed up as a "Mad Men extra" for Halloween and said that, short of a juicy "dropping off the laundry" scene she couldn't actually be on the show.

And I'm the dick who says "Have to be after '65 though." ACCURACY FIRST!

I just went to my high school reunion on Friday night.

It's funny how none of them remember I didn't even graduate until August. But boy, my mom does.
[this is good]
Leave it to Mrs. Jacobs to leave her mark 13 years later. I think I almost failed the first year too - she didn't like me very much.

Still so much fun to see you every week!

-T.
That was a weird class. Katie and I were sent to detention for the first (and only) time, thanks to Mrs. Jacobs. Starting to think it had less to do with us than it had to do with her . . .

And Tom, she didn't like me either. -)

D
I was well liked, but probably only because I never took a real theater class there.

But yes Dawn... I am sure it wasn't so much you two. You weren't really "detention material" (TJ, perhaps, but not Katie and Dawn).

Rich! Great to see you on Broadcast TV again last Thursday... (but dude... your character needs to back off :-) )
Oh, I think she *liked* me, but she hated me in her class. I think.

Pretty sure I failed because I did nothing in the class.

I never got sent to detention, though. Did get sent to sit in the hall a lot.

I still have fond memories of the time. I certainly never blamed any of the teachers who failed me -- failing four classes in one year goes a long way toward showing where the blame lies.

I'm so proud and always have been.

Mom

WHAT!? What did I do? I never got detention (that I remember...)

Let's all say it was Charity and be done with it.

;)

-Thomas.

I was just about over it and you had to bring it back up. I think I still have some of the old report cards....wonder what it will be worth to keep them from Bea?

Wow.

Both my mom and my dad have responded to this.

I am gonna be SO grounded you guys.

(And nice wink, Teej. I mean, "Thomas.")

Then there was World History...

Yep, you were quite the slacker sophomore year. ; )

Fortunately you're more than compensating for it now, whereas I'm seemingly going in the reverse direction. : /

Ha... sorry TJ. I was just giving you a hard time.

I actually don't even remember the school HAVING a detention program.

Hey Rich!
Oh yes, we had the detention program . . . One weird day of the choir vice president sitting next to the physics club president. Maybe it was Charity . . .

I have to sound off about SAHS theatre class!

[ciò è buono]
I don't think Ms. J liked anybody! I'm pretty sure we can blame Chris LeDoux for all of our problems.... She almost kind of liked him.
[das ist gut]

Nice article in Backstage Rich - not bad for a fella with an MA in theatre. I love seeing how excited you and your co-workers get about the show when the script comes in.

Also - I had no idea Mindy was a co-writer on "Office" - I almost never get to see it mostly because I'm stuck in the dark ages and don't have dvr, much less a functioning tv, but I'll have to pay better attention to the credits next time I do watch. I watched the night you were on though !

Minnesota. Well, that explains a whole lot! And it's good. I grew up a hundred miles straight south o' Concordia. Guess you have one of those cobber rings, rofl...
